Services update: Sydney stay-home order June 2021

Well here we are in “lockdown”. The NSW Government announced a stay-at-home order for all of Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas starting last Saturday 26th June at 6pm, for 2 weeks.

I feel like I’ve read the restrictions (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/greater-sydney) a million times, upside-down and back-to-front, trying to make sure I understand them. While it doesn’t implicitly state I can’t operate, it also does not implicitly state that I can. Some of the reasonable excuses certainly can be argued either way. I keep coming back to:

“Everyone in Greater Sydney must stay home unless you have a reasonable excuse.”

So we, Mr Pawsonality & I, made a business decision: Pawsonality will suspend all face-to-face services for the duration of the stay-at-home order. This means:

  • Free initial consults for new Pawsonal Dog Training Programs are available via Zoom, so I can still develop your plan and we can hit the ground running when restrictions ease
  • Those with Pawsonal Dog Training Programs underway can schedule a Zoom or phone consult that does not count as a program session and is no additional charge
  • Pawsonal Cat Behaviour Consults are available via Zoom or phone on the pay-what-you-can model*
  • Those on lifetime support can schedule a casual Zoom or phone consult on the pay-what-you-can model*
  • The Social Walk planned for Sunday 4th July will move online!
  • Puppy School for July is already scheduled for after lockdown, so I will happily continue to take bookings; the last class for June at North Richmond will be rescheduled as soon as I get confirmation about a seminar

I am so sorry for the inconvenience. If there are any questions please get in touch.

Stay safe, stay at home.
