Goodbye 2021…
So that’s it for 2021. Pawsonality is taking a short break and will be back from the 5th January 2022!
(I’ll still be monitoring email, DMs, texts & voicemail, don’t worry)
Thank you for your support over the last couple of years, as we worked our way through natural disasters, cancer and corona virus lockdowns… This was also my first year truly doing this full time, as I said goodbye to corporate roles entirely. Despite all those challenges, this year I have had the privilege to see 134 puppies through Puppy School, across two locations, online, and a “christmas cram” that I promise to never do again!
I’ve also seen at least 100 dogs & cats for private training sessions, across the Hawkesbury, Hills, Blacktown, Penrith & Blue Mountains, and Online.
I’ve met so many of you on the 23 Social Walks held this year, a couple of those awkwardly live online while you watched from lockdown.
A highlight for me was working with River and her mum Diana. Through training and after the requisite time, Diana was able to apply to have River’s Menacing Dog Order revoked! They are now off on an adventure around Australia, together, without that hanging over their heads.
I particularly want to thank:
- Quakers Hill Veterinary Hospital for hosting a space for Puppy School, and pointing puppies in my direction!
- All Pets Pantry North Richmond for hosting a space for Puppy School, finally west of the Hawkesbury River! And also being my primary source of pet food for like 10 years now…
- WOW Print Media for your amazing designs, printing, and apparel, making me look so good
- Fetching Dogs and Beagle Rescue NSW for being awesome rescues and supporting me and other trainers so we can help dogs in care and adopted
- Mr Pawsonality, Dean, for everything <3
- And YOU for working with your dog, having an open mind, and also referring me to your friends
So in my time off I’ll be madly catching up with admin (I know some of you are still waiting for notes and plans, sorry!), and updating Services for 2022.
- Puppy School will restart in January 2022 in-person at both Quakers Hill Veterinary Clinic & All Pets Pantry North Richmond, and I will continue an online offering; dates will be announced next week
- I’ve decided for now that Group Dog Training Classes (Life Skills & Dog School) will not recommence yet
- Social Walks will restart in January as well; dates to be announced soon
- Pawsonal Dog Training Programs still come with a free initial consult so you can suss me out, but this has moved to be online only; I’m reviewing all associated policies including session times & length, discounts & refunds, and pricing & payment
- Pawsonal Cat Behaviour Consults continue to be available in-person in the Greater Sydney Area, or online for anyone in the world
- Behaviour Assessments continue to be available in-person only, and may now attract a travel fee
- Online workshops are a new offering! If you are a rescue with foster carers, or a workplace considering allowing dogs in the workplace, a parents group looking to learn to help your kids & pets live together better, or anything else like that in mind, let’s chat about your needs!
Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season, how ever you celebrate.
Much love,
Marcia, Dean, Roxy, Mummacat, Mooshman, and Grandma
